The Role

This position will be the key role in maintaining and updating health information systems at STARTTS. It will identify service and user needs for the current systems and propose innovative ideas and developments to the Health Information Service Manager. You will be knowledgeable in health information policies and legislation to ensure that information systems at STARTTS are compliant.
This position will also be responsible for conducting regular training for new users and refresher training for existing users. The successful applicant will be part of a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team.

Skills Required

You will have tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management or equivalent experience managing health information systems. Demonstrated experience in implementing health information systems in a complex environment. Previous extensive experience using PAS and EMR systems. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to train users at various skill levels in health information systems.

Salary: Health Manager Level 2.
