ACON is seeking an organised and committed person to plan and deliver our work with the LGBTIQ community, with a particular focus on making significant improvements to breast cancer screening rates, cervical screening rates and smoking cessation within our communities.
LGBTIQ Cancer Prevention Officer
Salary range: $69,027 – $73,804 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and committed person to engage LGBTIQ women in NSW in a range of activities, events and campaign initiatives.
Your work will focus on implementing the #TalkTouchTest health promotion project, focused on breast cancer prevention for LGBTIQ people in NSW; contributing to our Check OUT clinic project, focused on increasing rates of cervical and STI screening; and our smoking cessation project, Smoke Free, Still Fierce.
This role focuses on partnerships with relevant organisations and community groups, grant administration, resource development, communication strategies, event management and peer education activities.
