Witness to War (W2W) is a humanitarian service that will support and assist individuals, families and communities directly exposed, or otherwise impacted by overseas conflict, based on the idea that that conflict can have detrimental impacts locally. Through the provision of targeted support and case management of target groups, the W2W project is aimed to build community resilience and reduce negative health, social and other impacts resulting from overseas conflict. The successful applicant will be part of a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications or significant experience in Social Work, Psychology, community development, social science, counselling or other relevant disciplines. Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing and evaluating projects in a cross-cultural context.
You will be a highly motivated person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively within a multicultural team setting.

Work Type: Full-time, 12 months contract. (Continuation subject to ongoing funding)
Salary: Health Education Officer, or other relevant classification based on qualifications, experience and requirements of the role.
A generous salary packaging scheme is also offered to reduce the taxable income and increase the take home pay.
